Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Lingo Wings mobile application (the "Application"), developed and
provided by Agha Huseynov (the "Service Provider", "we", "us", or "our"). The Application offers
language-learning features supported by advertising and optional paid premium content and
subscriptions. This service is provided "AS IS".
Information we collect
Account and profile information
When you create or use an account, we may collect information such as your email address, display
name, authentication identifiers, native language, target language, selected app language, and basic
account settings. We use this information to create and secure your account, personalize your
learning experience, and provide support.
Learning activity and app content
We process learning-related information such as quiz sessions, answers, scores, XP, streaks, badges,
missions, vocabulary progress, saved words, placement-test results, selected CEFR level, energy
balance, scenario progress, feedback reports, and similar app activity. We use this information to
operate the Application, save your progress, unlock content, provide leaderboards and achievements,
improve lesson quality, and prevent abuse.
Premium purchases and subscriptions
If you buy or restore premium access, Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat may process
purchase and subscription information. We may receive and store limited subscription status
information, such as whether premium access is active, the premium provider, entitlement status,
product or plan identifiers, renewal or expiration dates, and transaction-related identifiers needed
to validate access. We do not receive or store your full payment card number, bank account details,
or full billing credentials.
Device, diagnostics, advertising, and analytics information
The Application may automatically collect technical information such as device type, operating system,
app version, crash logs, diagnostic data, IP address or approximate region inferred from network
information, advertising identifiers where permitted, consent status, and information about how you
use the Application. We use this information to keep the Application reliable, measure performance,
understand feature usage, show and measure ads for non-premium users, and improve the service.
Push notifications
If you choose to enable push notifications, the Application and OneSignal may process information such
as your device identifier, push notification token, notification permission and subscription status,
language or region settings, app usage events, and notification interaction data. We use this
information to send optional learning reminders, streak reminders, service updates, account-related
messages, and important app notices. You can disable notifications at any time from your device
settings and, where available, from the Application's notification settings.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- provide, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the Application;
- create accounts, authenticate users, and prevent unauthorized access;
- save learning progress, personalize lessons, and provide premium content;
- validate purchases, restore purchases, and manage premium entitlements;
- show advertisements to non-premium users and respect advertising consent choices;
- measure app usage, crashes, and performance;
- send optional push notifications and service messages;
- respond to support, privacy, deletion, and legal requests; and
- comply with applicable laws, platform rules, and fraud-prevention requirements.
Location information
The Application does not collect precise real-time GPS location. Some third-party services may infer
an approximate location, such as country or region, from your IP address or device settings for
security, analytics, advertising, fraud prevention, purchase processing, tax, or localization
purposes.
Advertising, analytics, and consent
The Application may show ads to non-premium users through Google AdMob. In regions where consent is
required, the Application may use Google's User Messaging Platform and, on iOS, Apple's App Tracking
Transparency prompt to request and manage advertising consent. If you decline personalized
advertising, we may show non-personalized ads where allowed. Premium users do not receive in-app ads,
but analytics, diagnostics, purchase validation, and service-security processing may still occur as
needed to operate the Application.
Third-party services
We use trusted third-party service providers to operate the Application. These providers may process
information according to their own privacy policies and our configuration of their services:
When we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:
- with service providers that help us host, authenticate, analyze, monetize, deliver notifications,
validate purchases, and support the Application;
- with Apple, Google, or RevenueCat when needed to process purchases, subscriptions, refunds,
restores, fraud checks, and entitlement validation;
- when required by law, legal process, or governmental request;
- to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the Application, or the Service Provider;
and
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of the Application, subject
to appropriate safeguards.
Your choices and rights
You can manage your account information in the Application where available. You can reset or change
advertising consent choices from the Application's privacy settings where available, from the
operating system settings, or by using consent forms shown in the Application. You can disable push
notifications in your device settings. You can stop further collection by uninstalling the
Application, although we may retain information as described below.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction,
objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. To make a privacy request, contact us at privacy@lingowings.com. You can also request account
deletion from the Application where available.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this
Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Account and
learning progress data is generally retained while your account is active. After an account deletion
request, we delete or anonymize account and learning data within a reasonable period, subject to
backups, fraud prevention, security, legal, tax, accounting, dispute, and platform compliance
obligations. Analytics and diagnostic data may be retained in aggregated or de-identified form.
Purchase and subscription records may be retained as needed to validate entitlements, resolve
support requests, comply with store rules, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
Children's privacy
The Application is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal
information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us,
please contact us at privacy@lingowings.com so that we
can take appropriate action.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect the information we
process. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee
absolute security.
International processing
The Application and its service providers may process and store information in countries other than
the country where you live, including the United States and countries where our providers operate.
Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by updating this
page and, where appropriate, through the Application or other reasonable means. Continued use of the
Application after an update means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
